Description

Handmade, with hand tools in my shop, the head of this woodworkers mallet is cut out of one piece of sapele making it durable and heavy, whilst the handle is walnut, to give the piece some contrast. Finished in tung oil.

Made with a traditional, no glue wedged tenon so you can disassemble if needed. Once together, the joint is solid and will hold indefinitely.

Ideal as a working mallet for use with chisels or as a decorative piece/gift, laser engraved with the Satchell & Browne Logo or laser engraved with a design or text of your choice. These mallets are made to order so I can also adjust the shape of the head or handle, if you have something particular in mind – see the custom design section below for more info.
